Even though the 80-day world tour has come and gone ~ and Guillaume is logging long hours and doing lots of climbing in preparation for his July 2010 adventure sponsored again by Le Monde newspaper, he just posted a photo on the Web of a Mar 25 reunion at his home with his world tour buddy Chris...

p.s. Chris liked world touring so much, he moved to South America, put his Spanish on, and met a lovely young lady in Bogota who shares his passions for gourmet cooking, cycling, and spirituality. They're getting married this summer!

Miss Dvora has been waiting since last May for the hematology dept to give her the okey-dokey go-ahead for shoulder replacement surgery on the left joint. Since May, 2009. 'Coz there's no cartilage. Bone on bone. And, after 10 months of waiting, the pain has gotten worse, and the pain meds have gotten less effective. And 'coz I don't want to become a prospective patient at the Betty Ford Clinic, I put up with the pain...

So, I have sleepless nights more often than I'd prefer.

Last night I decided to do a little early-morning whoring in an obscure little thread. But, Ocho-Seis locked the thread... No problem! I caught up to Mr Timo in the post count and I have a firm resolve to stay current with him during the cycling season. I want to jump as high as, ride as long as, lift as much weight as... I don't want to be an also-ran!
